One of the annoyances of the use of social media and online tools is the sheer number of logins you have to remember (or store).
And, while some services allow you to login using your Facebook or Twitter credentials, I will be the first to admit that some of these sites are suspect (o.O) and I end up creating a new ID specifically for that site anyway.
End result? All these dang passwords and who can remember them all? So, what do we do, we rely on either the same passwords for all these sites (a disaster waiting to happen) or we only pick two or three different passwords and use them across a whole bunch of sites (not good either).
Take a look at this infographic and in particular, look how long it would take to break your password if it contained some combination of 9 letters, numbers and symbols! And, I mean, who uses “password” as a password? Apparently a LOT of people. It’s time to uplevel your password structure, guys.
